[edit] Editing an existing (NAR) Database
- Go to a 'database page'
- Click 'Edit'
- Put your text describing the database within the markers on the page
- When you feel confident enough, delete the NAR transclusion template to remove the seed text.
- NOTE: You may not edit the NAR Database text! You may read the text and use it as inspiration when you write your text. You may not copy and paste large portions of the NAR text directly. If you do copy and paste short phrases from the NAR text, be sure to add an appropriate citation.
[edit] Editing an existing User contributed Database
- Don't hold back!
- All user contributed text on MetaBase is stored within the MediaWiki versioning system, so people can always review your changes. However, you should always be respectful when editing the text of others.
