The Database Issue of Nucleic Acids Research is a print series dedicated to databases in the field of molecular biology.

This annual publication appears in the Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) journal, which publishes the results of leading edge research into nucleic acids and proteins. A description of the database issue series is given in the editorial section of the 2007 issue <citation todo>

Associated with the series is the Molecular Biology Database Collection, a compendium of databases that includes all those databases described in Nucleic Acids Research, as well as selected other databases relevant to biologists. This resource, produced by Michael Galperin, is reproduced in MetaBase under the terms of NAR's open access model. <citation tofind>

Individuals who wish to have their database listed in the Molecular Biology Database Collection or update a previous submission to the collection should contact Dr Michael Galperin directly (galperin@ncbi.nlm.nih.gov).
