The Template:Cite:narDbSum2007 template is used to insert a 'citation link' for the Nucleic Acids Research (NAR) 2007 Database Issue 'Database Summaries' cite into the body of some text (as we just did).

[edit] Usage

Typing the following text in a page; 

"cite this" {{Template:Cite:narDbSum2007}}

results in the following 'citation' being inserted into the text; 

"cite this" cite

Which is simply a link to the template page where the text of the citation can be viewed. If you actually want the text of the citation, use the companion template Template:Cite:narDbSum2007:text.

In future this 'citation template' should include the text of the citation at the bottom of the page that it is included in, appearing just above the category box with a similar format. This requires a level of Wiki code that is currently not available.
