FESD is a web-based wp:integrated database for selecting sets of wp:SNPs in putative functional elements in human genes.

It provides sets of SNPs located in 10 different functional elements; promoter regions, wp:CpG islands, wp:5'UTRs (untranslated regions), translation start sites, splice sites, coding exons, introns, translation stop sites, poly adenylation signals (PASes), and wp:3'UTRs.

In addition, users can get the flanking sequences of SNPs for genotyping experiments through our web interface.
