Chromhome
From MetaBase
Chromhome is a database of comparative genomics showing maps of chromosome homologies across species.

[edit] Database Description
Homologies have been identified by cross-species chromosome painting with chromosome specific DNA probes prepared by chromosome sorting or microdissection. The chromosome products are amplified by random-primed PCR and labeled with various fluorochromes. The fluorescent probes are hybridized to be fixed and the air dried on microscopic slides and examined under fluorescence microscopy.
